Lori continues to work with YouthCare, a local not-for-profit that builds confidence and self-sufficiency for homeless youth by providing a continuum of care that includes outreach, basic services, emergency shelter, housing, counseling, education, and employment training.

The events she coordinates are, among others:

April Showers Bring May Flowers | This was a fundraising auction benefiting YouthCare that was held in April of 2014. The goal was to raise $20,000 remodel and update YouthCare’s Passages House, which is transitional housing facility that provides a beacon of hope for homeless teens that are completely on their own with no family or resources.
